A vehicle crashed into the center divide of northbound Highway 101 on Tuesday afternoon, causing traffic to slow at the base of Cuesta Grade, the California Highway Patrol said.

The white sedan was driving northbound on Highway 101 at about 4 p.m. when it collided with the median just south of Reservoir Canyon Road, a CHP officer said.

It wasn’t immediately clear whether the crash resulted in an injury, or if the sedan needed to be towed out of the road, the officer said.

By 5 p.m., the vehicle had been removed from the scene of the crash, according to the CHP Officer.

Traffic was still slow at the Monterey Street on-ramp to northbound Highway 101 as of 5 p.m., the Caltrans traffic live stream showed.

No other vehicles were involved in the collision, the CHP officer said.
