Two separate car crashes were slowing traffic on southbound Highway 101 in San Luis Obispo on Wednesday afternoon, a Caltrans traffic camera showed.

At about 3:50 p.m., three vehicles collided south of the Higuera Street exit, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatcher Rick Olson.

Later at about 4:15 p.m., two vehicles crashed north of the Los Osos Valley Road off-ramp, Olson said.
