Early-morning fire destroys SLO County barn

A fire destroyed a barn in Santa Margarita on Wednesday morning, Cal Fire reported on Twitter.

The blaze started at about 4:45 a.m. near the intersection of Parkhill Road and Rattlesnake Creek Road, according to Pulsepoint.

The 1,500-square-foot barn had burned down by 7:13 a.m., when Cal Fire posted the Tweet.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation, Cal Fire said.
