Blaze burns SLO County house, sparking 2-day response from firefighters
Firefighters were still at the scene of a stubborn house fire in Heritage Ranch on Tuesday morning, 17 hours after it was reported Monday afternoon, Cal Fire San Luis Obispo County confirmed to The Tribune.
Firefighters and Harbor IC initially responded to the blaze at 5:22 p.m. Monday, Cal Fire said on Twitter. The two-story home is in the 2000 block of Sand Harbor Court in the community near Lake Nacimiento.
As of about 10 p.m. Monday, the fire was contained to the garage. All residents were evacuated safely and no injuries have been reported at this time.
As of 11 a.m. Tuesday, however, firefighters were still at the home, Toni Davis, spokesperson for Cal Fire, told The Tribune.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
