Interactive map shows average home values for every SLO County community, Santa Maria

Real estate prices in San Luis Obispo County are on the decline, but are still among the highest in California.

An interactive map with data from Zillow shows the average home value for nearly every community in SLO County, including Paso Robles, Atascadero, Cambria, Morro Bay and Pismo Beach.

The map, updated with new data each month, also shows what the typical home is worth in Santa Maria.

According to the California Association of Realtors, the median sale price for a single-family home in San Luis Obispo County was $815,000 in October, nearly a 7% drop from the previous month. That figure is still slightly higher than the median price of $800,000 in October 2021.

The median price for a single-family home in California is $801,190, according to CAR’s data, down 2.5% from September. The Central Coast’s median price is the second among the state’s major population centers, trailing only the Bay Area.
