Did you get a parking ticket while visiting Paso Robles this past weekend? You may not have to pay it.

The city of Paso Robles is forgiving all parking citations given to downtown visitors on Saturday during the Pioneer Day celebration, according to a Tuesday news release from the city.

“Visitors to the Pioneer Day celebration expect the ‘leave your pocketbook at home’ experience envisioned by the founders of Pioneer Day,” Paso Robles Mayor Steve Martin said in the release. “Folks who were ticketed on the downtown streets during this year’s event can have those tickets nullified.”

Held the second Saturday of October in downtown Paso Robles, Pioneer Day includes a parade, concerts, horseshoe throwing and an old-fashioned bean feed.

To request a review of your ticket, use the Parking Citation Portal at pasorobles.citationinfo.com or complete the request for review form in person at the Paso Robles Police Department.

Requests will be reviewed by a supervisor and the response to it will be mailed.
