Both sides of Old Creek Road in Cayucos were reopened after a semi-trailer truck crashed near Highway 46 Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The semi-truck was believed to be a fuel tanker, CHP Officer Patrick Seebart said.

According to the CHP log, the truck took a sharp hairpin turn too fast and tipped over at 9:10 a.m. Tuesday.

Seebart said the truck was partially off and on Old Creek Road. The scene was cleared around 12:30 p.m., he said.

The San Luis Obispo County Public Works Department was helping close the road until a tow truck could move the semi out of the way.

No injuries were reported.

Old Creek Road was closed in both directions from Highway 46 to Highway 1, Seebart said.
