Update, 4 p.m.: Power has been restored to all customers.

Areas of North San Luis Obispo County were without power after an unplanned PG&E outage cut the electricity.

Roughly 1,600 customers were effected by the outage as of 1 p.m., according to the PG&E outage map.

Of those customers, about 1,570 live in Shandon.

PG&E predicts the power will be restored to those customers around 3:15 p.m. today, according to the outage map.
