Firefighters extinguished the fire in 15 minutes, Blattler said.

The fire caused “significant damage” to the attic and the area where the fire started, he said, adding that the home is no longer safe to live in.

No injuries were reported, the agency said.

The residents of the home stayed with friends on Tuesday night, according to Blattler.

The Fire Department is investigating the cause of the blaze.
