Firefighters battle house fire in rural Templeton

Cal Fire responded Friday morning to a residential house fire on the outskirts Templeton, according to emergency app PulsePoint.

The house fire started at 8:53 a.m., according to PulsePoint.

Six engines were dispatched to contain the fire at 510 Sequoia Lane, according to scanner chatter.

The fire was confined to one room of the house, scanner chatter said.

A Cal Fire phone operator confirmed the fire was extinguished at approximately 11:26 a.m.

No injuries or fatalities were reported during the fire.

Cal Fire said it would continue to complete salvage and cleanup operations for one to two hours.
