A multi-car crash on the Cuesta Grade slowed Highway 101 traffic Tuesday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol incident report page, several vehicles were involved in a traffic incident on southbound Highway 101 around 10:30 a.m. past the west Cuesta Ridge trailhead north of San Luis Obispo.

It was initially unclear exactly how many vehicles were involved, though scanner traffic indicated four vehicles.

Several injuries were reported, according to emergency scanner traffic, though the extent of those was not disclosed.

A heavy traffic jam was reported in the area, according to Caltrans Quick Maps.
