Has SLO County housing market slowed? Here’s what home sales looked like in June
San Luis Obispo County’s housing market saw an increase in sales between May and June 2022, according to new data from Metro Scan.
In SLO County, 392 homes were sold in June 2022, an improvement over May’s 330 homes sold, though both figures significantly trailed 2021 figures.
Most of this year’s home sale figures have been closer to their 2020 counterparts than the high growth seen in 2021. For example, 363 homes were sold in June 2020, 606 homes were sold in June 2021 and 392 homes were sold in June 2022.
Sales in the city of San Luis Obispo fared slightly worse, dropping from 58 homes sold in May to 57 in June. Home sales in the city have gradually declined since peaking in March, when 67 homes were sold.
