Sheriff identifies man killed in accident at Paso Robles Truck Center
A man who was killed in an industrial accident at a Paso Robles truck shop Thursday evening has been identified, the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office told The Tribune.
Cesar Rivera Villegas, 40, died after an accident at the Paso Robles Truck Center, Tony Cipolla, spokesperson for the Sheriff’s Office, wrote in an email to The Tribune.
The accident occurred around 4 p.m. at the center located on Wellsona Road. According to its website, the business sells and repairs trucks.
Villegas was preparing a truck to be moved when it rolled forward over him, Cipolla said. He suffered fatal injuires in the accident.
Cipolla said Villegas’ next of kin has been notified.
According to the voicemail message at the truck center’s phone, the center is closed effective immediately “until further notice.”
