Update: Brush fire near Lopez Lake grows to 22 acres
Update, June 7 at 12 p.m.:
The Lopez Lake fire in Los Padres National Forest has grown to 22 acres as firefighters work to contain the blaze, according to a tweet from Cal Fire San Luis Obispo.
An update on the level of containment is forthcoming, the agency said.
The Twitter account CA Fire Scanner reported that fire crews were making good progress on containing the fire as the amount of retardant doubled up and the fire held within the lines.
Update, 6 p.m.:
According to Twitter account CA Fire Scanner monitoring radio traffic, crews on the scene said the fire was estimated to be 30 acres with the potential to grow to 100 acres.
Spot fires were being thrown ahead of the main blaze.
The fire is in the Los Padres National Forest and they will be the lead agency fighting the fire.

Multiple units are responding to a vegetation fire near Lopez Lake in rural San Luis Obispo County near Hi Mountain.
The fire is currently at about seven acres and has a moderate rate of spread. It is primarily located in brush, according to scanner chatter.
The access point for firefighters is on the Lopez Lake side off Hi Mountain Road, according to scanner reports.
At least three tankers and a helicopter were on order to drop retardant.
A spotter aircraft from the U.S. Department of Forestry departed from Paso Robles Municipal Airport and is circling the area where the fire is near Hi Mountain Road, according to FlightRadar.
Firefighters requested two additional hand crews and two more tankers, bringing the total to three tankers, according to the scanner.
