If you’ve ever wanted a luxury jewelry piece with an unusual back story — there’s an upcoming auction you might want to check out.

SLOCAL Estate Auctions, in partnership with the San Luis Obispo County District Attorney’s Office, is holding an auction this week featuring jewelry, watches, sports memorabilia, designer shoes and handbags seized as evidence in an embezzlement investigation, according to a news release Friday.

Fear not: The items themselves were not stolen, according to the District Attorney’s Office, but instead were purchased “by a criminal defendant using funds she embezzled from her employer.”

The release did not specify further details of the embezzlement investigation.

The proceeds from the auction will be turned over to the victim of the embezzlement to offset a portion of his loss, according to the release.

So what’s up for sale? Well, it’s an eclectic mix to say the least.

On the extreme luxury goods end, they’ve got a limited-edition $43,000 Hublot watch currently listed for $5,500, and a custom $104,000 platinum diamond bracelet with bidding up to $12,200. There’s also some diamond and tanzanite jewelry and two other designer watches.

Also to be expected in a luxury auction are several pieces of signed sports memorabilia, primarily footballs and helmets from the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers.

None of that doing it for you? The auction also features signed guitars from Keith Urban and Demi Lovato, a signed “Stranger Things” poster, Disney-themed art from Thomas Kinkade Studios, 15 pairs of Christian Louboutin designer shoes (mostly extremely embellished sneakers) and of course, some signed Metallica Pop Funko figurines.

The online auction will end Thursday. Further details and item descriptions are available at slocalestateauctions.com.
