1 person injured in late-night house fire in Los Osos

One person was injured in a late-night house fire in Los Osos on Saturday evening.

Cal Fire and firefighting crews were at the scene of a fully involved structure fire in the 1600 block of 7th Street around 9:30 p.m. The blaze was reported at 9:23 p.m., according to emergency response app PulsePoint.

By 10:16 p.m., the fire had been knocked down, and one person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries, according to a Cal Fire tweet.

Battalion Chief Paul Provence said the injuries were cuts to the person’s face.

He estimated fire crews would be on scene for approximately three hours for cleanup.
