Vice President Kamala Harris to visit Central Coast next week
Vice President Kamala Harris is expected to visit the Central Coast on Monday, with a stop at Vandenberg Space Force Base.
According to a news release Thursday, the vice president will be meeting “with the men and women of the United States Space Force and United States Space Command.”
Vandenberg is currently in the running to be Space Force’s STARCOM headquarters, which would be in charge of training and development.
She’s expected to receive briefings on their work. She will also deliver remarks.
Additional details on her visit are not yet available.
