Here’s how to watch SpaceX rocket blast off from Vandenberg Space Force Base

SpaceX will launch its Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base around 9:12 a.m. on Friday in the second launch from the Central Coast military base this year.

Though it will likely be visible for miles around, for an up-close view of the launch, you’ll want to check out SpaceX’s feed, which goes live 15 minutes before launch.

The launch window opens at 9:12 a.m., but depending upon weather and other factors, liftoff could potentially be delayed to Saturday at 8:50 p.m.

Following stage separation, Falcon 9’s first stage will return to the company’s droneship in the Pacific Ocean.
