1 person injured in SLO County mobile home fire, Cal Fire says

One person was injured in a Nipomo mobile home fire on Monday evening, Cal Fire said.

According to Cal Fire, firefighters responded to the scene of a fire at a double-wide mobile home in the area of Neptune and Starlite drives in Nipomo around 4:30 p.m.

One person was injured in the blaze and was transported to a local hospital with burn injuries, Cal Fire said.

A second person who was believed to be inside was not actually home at the time of the blaze, the agency said.

The fire was contained as of 5:30 p.m.

This is the second house fire in Nipomo in just under a week.

On Nov. 2, a teenage girl died and two others were injured in a blaze that destroyed a Tefft Street home.
