Person falls 30 feet from Bishop Peak, refuses medical transport, SLO City Fire says

A person fell approximately 30 feet from Bishop Peak in San Luis Obispo on Tuesday morning, according to the San Luis Obispo City Fire Department.

Firefighters and paramedics with San Luis Ambulance responded to reports of a fall victim in the open space near the Highland Drive and Brittany Circle trailhead around 11:25 a.m., according to PulsePoint.

The person was assessed and treated by paramedics on the scene before being removed from Bishop Peak, SLO City Fire reported.

Firefighters and paramedics had expected to take the fall victim to the hospital via ambulance, however the person refused transport, the Fire Department tweeted.
