Update: No gas leak found after investigation, SLO City Fire Department says

Update, 2:10 p.m.

The San Luis Obispo City Fire Department said it did not locate a leak or any major hazards after investigating a report of a potential gas leak near the area of Madonna Road and Los Osos Valley Road.

The scene has been turned over to Southern California Gas Co., according to the SLO City Fire Department.

The San Luis Obispo City Fire Department was on the scene of a potential gas leak in the area of Madonna Road and Los Osos Valley Road early Tuesday afternoon.

The gas leak was reported near the Laguna Village Shopping Center around 1 p.m. Tuesday, the agency said.

According to SLO City Fire, crews were investigating the source of the possible gas leak and Southern California Gas Co. was on its way to the scene.
