Power restored to all customers after outage in downtown San Luis Obispo

A outage in San Luis Obispo knocked out power to 4,699 customers Thursday afternoon.

The outage covered all of downtown San Luis Obispo and stretched from Laurel Lane to just short of Foothill Boulevard and South Higuera Street to near Johnson Avenue, according to a PG&E outage map.

The outage was reported around 2:50 p.m. Thursday and power was expected to be restored at around 6:15 p.m.

As of 6 p.m., power had been restored to all customers, according to PG&E.

PG&E was investigating the cause of the outage.
