Paso Robles man arrested after crash on DUI enforcement night
Paso Robles police arrested four people on suspicion of driving under the influence Friday night during traffic stop saturation patrol.
One arrest involved a felony crash into a parked vehicle, according to a press release. The driver was Michael Lee Jauregui, 44, of Paso Robles. His passenger was injured in the crash.
Police officers conducted a field DUI investigation on Jauregui and determined his blood-alcohol level was more than double the legal limit.
Jauregui was arrested on suspicion of felony DUI causing bodily injury, along with other charges, and was booked into the SLO County Jail early Saturday. His bail was set at $100,000, according to the SLO County Jail booking website.
Paso Robles police said that officers are out in force conducting traffic stops and saturation patrols using a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety.
