Medical aid called out for 2 hikers on Cerro San Luis

Cal Fire and the San Luis Obispo County Fire Department assisted two hikers at Cerro San Luis Obispo, also known as Madonna Mountain, in need of medical aid just before 1 p.m. Friday.

One of the two hikers was transported to a local hospital via San Luis Ambulance for issues related to dehydration, around 1:20 p.m.

The other hiker refused medical treatment on the scene. Officials said they left the scene shortly thereafter.
