5 displaced by aggressive house fire in Paso Robles

Five people were displaced after a single-family residential structure fire Thursday afternoon in Paso Robles.

Crews responded to a report of a fire at 305 Santa Fe Avenue about 2 p.m. Firefighters discovered heavy fire emitting from the residence, with flames extending into two neighboring residential structures.

Two of the structures were occupied at the time of the fire, according to a news release from the Paso Robles Department of Emergency Services.

No community members were injured, and one firefighter received minor burns, the release said.

The blaze was reportedly contained by 3:15 p.m. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, officials said.

Multiple agencies responded to the scene, including crews from Paso Robles, Atascadero, Templeton, Camp Roberts and Cal Fire, among others.

In total, 32 firefighters worked to contain the blaze, the release said.
