Tom Madden, a partner at a San Luis Obispo County law firm, will be named the Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce’s Roblan of the Year at its annual gala.

The Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce’s Roblan of the Year is known throughout the city for bringing community events to life.

Tom Madden will receive the annual honor for his years of involvement in Paso Robles-area events and organizations, according to a Chamber news release.

“Tom exemplifies what it means to love and support a community,” said Matt McClish, chairman of the Chamber’s board of directors, in a statement. “We are excited to honor him.”

Madden, a partner at San Luis Obispo County law firm Adamski Moroski Madden Cumberland & Green LLP, was nominated by several previous Roblans of the Year.

He’s a Paso Robles High School alumnus and a supporter of area 4-H clubs and the Boys and Girls Club of North San Luis Obispo County.

Madden was also chairman of the Paso Robles Wine Festival for two years and helped put on Paso Robles Pioneer Day, the Firestone Walker Invitational Beer Festival, and the Santa Margarita Antique Equipment Show.

He will receive his award at the Chamber’s annual gala, which will be held on Saturday at the Paso Robles Inn ballroom.

Additional awards

The Chamber will also honor the Paso Robles Horse Park with the Beautification Award. The equestrian competition and event facility hosts wine and food events, festivals, sporting competitions and fundraisers.

“The Paso Robles Horse Park will help Paso become more than wine country,” McClish said in a statement. “Their contribution will help Paso emerge as a world-class equestrian destination as well. The benefits to our community are obvious, and we are thrilled to offer our support and recognize their contribution to the community.”

In addition, the Chamber will honor Nancy Fiske and George Psaltis as Ambassadors of the Year.
