Take a tour of homes lit up for the holidays around SLO County

What better way to really get in the holiday spirit than by taking a driving tour of San Luis Obispo County homes lit up for the season?

And these days, it’s not just strings of colored blubs hung from the eaves. We’ve got projected images on garage doors, all sorts of color-changing lights decorating trees, fences and lawns, laser lights, blow-up holiday characters, and even synced music you can tune into while admiring individual properties.

Tribune photographer Laura Dickinson spent a few nights this week on the lookout for some of the most festive area homes.
