SLO welcomes Hanukkah with menorah lighting at Mission

San Luis Obispo welcomed the start of Hanukkah on Tuesday with the first candlelighting of the menorah on the steps outside the Mission.

The event, sponsored by the JCC Federation, included games and treats. The lightings continue nightly at 5 p.m. through Dec. 19, with the exception of Saturday, which is at 5:30 p.m.
