2 displaced by house fire in Shandon
A house fire that threatened multiple structures in Shandon displaced two people Tuesday afternoon.
Firefighters responded to the 200 block of South Second Street about 1 p.m., according to Cal Fire. The first crews on scene reported a “large amount of fire” within the home.

Multiple structures were threatened, but a quick response contained the damage to one home, Cal Fire said. The Red Cross was called to the scene to assist the two adults who were displaced.
Firefighters stayed on the scene for a few hours to mop up, Cal Fire said.
No one was injured.
