Three boys were injured Friday, November 24, 2017, in a single-car crash at the base of Old Stage Coach Road and Highway 101 north of San Luis Obispo.

Three boys suffered minor to moderate injuries in a single-vehicle crash near Old Stage Coach Road and Highway 101 north of San Luis Obispo on Friday.

The vehicle, a four-door sedan, was traveling south about 11:55 a.m. on Old Stage Coach Road when it went off the roadway and crashed into a tree, according to San Luis Obispo Fire Battalion Chief Bob Bisson.

Bisson said the most serious injury was a broken wrist, and the cause of the crash is being investigated by CHP.

“We’re currently treating those patients on scene and interacting with the parents,” Bisson said from the scene. “My guess currently is that all the patients will be turned over to their parents to follow-up with further medical care.”

The San Luis Obispo Fire Department, California Highway Patrol, Cal Fire and San Luis Ambulance responded to the crash.
