Sixth Annual South County Turkey Trot at the Beach

8 a.m. to Noon.

A “fun run” and walk for the family. The trot includes a 1-mile, 5K and 10K walk/run. Every $1 raised buys $10 of food at the SLO County Food Bank. Pismo Beach Pier. Free, but donations requested. 805-458-3321, www.southcountyturkeytrot.com.

Gobble Wobble: Family Fun Run

9 to 9:30 a.m.

Free Thanksgiving meal

11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Thanksgiving for Paso Robles

Noon to 2 p.m.

More than 250 volunteers transform Centennial Park into a restaurant for people who would normally go without a holiday meal. Traditional sit-down dinner made possible with donations and volunteers. Centennial Park, 600 Nickerson Drive, Paso Robles. 805-712-6401.
