Woman killed in Highway 46 crash near Paso Robles identified
A Los Angeles woman who died in a car crash on Highway 46 just east of Paso Robles on Friday has been identified, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Jenny M. Bahan, 39, was driving a 2011 Honda Fit westbound about 8:45 p.m. and stopped in the left-turn lane to pull onto Geneseo Road, the CHP said. As she turned, a 2015 GMC utility truck driven by Charles Bradshaw, 44, of Santa Maria hit the passenger side of Bahan’s car, sending both vehicles off the highway and into an embankment.
Officers said Bahan died of her injuries at the scene; Bradshaw said he was experiencing back pain and would seek treatment.
The crash remains under investigation.
