San Luis Obispo hosts annual triathlon
Athletes competing in the 38th annual SLO Triathlon swam a half-mile, rode their bikes 15 miles and ran 3.1 miles Saturday in San Luis Obispo. The event started with 18 laps at the San Luis Obispo Swim Center, followed by a bike ride from Sinsheimer Park along Orcutt Road, through rolling hills. The final leg, a run of just over three miles that wound up at Sinsheimer. People could compete individually or as teams of two to three individuals.
