Firefighters are investigating the cause of a fire that damaged the McDonald’s on Niblick Road in Paso Robles on Friday night.
Responders, totaling 15 firefighters, were alerted to the fire at 186 Niblick Road at 11:07 p.m., arriving at the scene four minutes later “to discover heavy smoke and fire emitting from the building,” according a statement from the City of Paso Robles.
The building was occupied at the time, but no injuries were reported. Firefighters were able to limit the spread of the fire and smoke, the news release said.
The fire was contained by 11:29 p.m.
