North County residents cool off at Paso Robles water park

The Ravine Water Park in Paso Robles was a popular spot Sunday for North County residents trying to beat the heat. The park, just north of Highway 46 off Airport Road, features water slides, pools and other attractions with names such as Quadzilla, Kamikaze, Tadpool and Vertigo.

It might stay busy during the week ahead, with temperatures forecast to continue above normal in the area thanks to a ridge of high pressure. PG&E meteorologist John Lindsey sees triple-digit heat continuing for the next three or four days, before a slight cooling trend kicks in next weekend.
