Thirteen people received minor injuries in a crash on Highway 46 on Monday afternoon, according to Cal Fire.

The crash happened west of Shandon about 3:45 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash involved two vehicles, one of which was a van carrying disabled people, the CHP said.

Eight of the 13 injured were taken to a local hospital, Cal Fire said. The agency added that traffic in the area is “impacted.”
