Hundreds gather in San Luis Obispo for vigil protesting Trump’s immigration order
More than 300 people turned out Wednesday evening for a candlelight vigil at Mission Plaza to protest President Donald Trump’s executive order on immigration.
The event was planned by the Women’s March San Luis Obispo organizers and included speakers and music.
“We are in this for the long haul,” Dawn Addis, the Women’s March co-founder, said in a news release ahead of the event. “We will not rest because there is no true peace without equity for all.”
