Atascadero’s Winter Wonderland event tonight will happen rain or shine, organizers say.

The event features more than 53 tons of real snow, arranged into “massive snow slides” for sledding at the city’s Sunken Gardens.

It will also have entertainment, food and craft vendors, 805 Boardshop Skate Team demos, bounces houses, Joe’s Little Train and a visit from Santa Claus.

Winter Wonderland is from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. It is free to the public.
