Fallen tree blocks road in Grover Beach

A large tree fell in Grover Beach on Monday evening, closing a road for awhile.

South 4th Street from Farroll Road to Highland Avenue was closed as crews removed the tree from the road, according to the Grover Beach Police Department.

Those familiar with the area say they aren’t surprised the tree fell, calling the eucalyptus the line the road “a nightmare” and “dirty and dangerous.”
