Small grass fire contained near Templeton

Crews responded to a small grass fire Sunday morning near Templeton, according to Cal Fire.

Cal Fire received the first call about the blaze at El Pomar Drive and Neal Spring Road at 10:26 a.m. Three engines and a battalion chief responded, and crews were able to contain the fire at a quarter-acre at 10:55 a.m., according to Cal Fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. There were no injuries reported.

San Luis Obispo County Fire also responded to the incident.
