Late-night fire east of Paso Robles quickly contained

Fire crews quickly contained a small blaze east of Paso Robles late Saturday night.

The first report of the fire at 7469 Union Road was received at 11:12 p.m., said Cal Fire Capt. Dave Kay. The fire was contained at 11:23 p.m. after burning a quarter acre of grass.

Cal Fire and the Paso Robles Fire Department responded to the blaze.

The cause of the fire is under investigation; there were no reported injuries.
