Will you keep wearing a mask now that SLO County’s indoor mandate is over? Let us know

After months of masking up to slow the spread of two virulent coronavirus variants, the San Luis Obispo County Public Health Department has once again dropped its indoor mask mandate in line with the state guidance on coronavirus protections.

As individual businesses and restaurants change their own mask rules, this means we’ll likely be seeing a lot more full faces again while we are out and about.

But The Tribune wants to know: Are you ditching your masks? Or will you keep wearing them?

An important note: The mandate only drops the universal requirement for masking of vaccinated individuals in all public indoor spaces; there are still some situations in which a mask will be required, including among unvaccinated individuals, so this question does not apply to those situations. For a complete look at masking requirements still in effect, check out SLO County Public Health’s guidance here.

Vote in our poll below and let us know whether you are ready to put masks behind you, or if you’ll be wearing them a little longer.
