SLO County moving Paso Robles COVID-19 vaccinations to a new location
The San Luis Obispo County Public Health Department is consolidating its North County COVID-19 vaccinations and testing at a single site starting on Wednesday.
The Paso Robles Train Station will now be the site for both services. Previously, testing was provided there while vaccinations were administered at the Paso Robles Public Health Clinic.
The decision to move the vaccine site to the train station at 800 Pine St. was due, in part, to the ample indoor space to serve residents’ testing and vaccine needs during the winter months, according to a news release from the Public Health Department.
“This change will help us to better serve our community members in North County during the winter weather season by providing an indoor observation area that is more suitable to our needs,” said Dr. Penny Borenstein, San Luis Obispo County Public Health officer. “If you live or work in North County, it is convenient to get tested for or vaccinated against COVID-19 at a single location.”
The days and times for vaccines are:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 8:15 to 11:15 a.m. and 1:15 to 4:15 p.m.
Friday: 8:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
Saturday: 8:15 to 11:15 a.m., 1:15 to 4:15 p.m.
Testing is available at the site Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. (closed from 11 a.m. to noon and from 4 to 5 p.m.).
