SLO County adds more than 10 COVID-19 cases for second time since mid-March

San Luis Obispo County added 11 confirmed coronavirus cases on Thursday, according to ReadySLO.org. A total of 317 local residents have now tested positive for COVID-19 since March.

Thursday’s increase is the second highest single-day increase in COVID-19 cases in the county. The biggest single-day jump in cases was April 24, when 14 new coronavirus cases were reported.

Atascadero and Arroyo Grande each added two cases. Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay each added a single case. And the four additional new cases are in areas with fewer than five cases.

Of the total COVID-19 cases, 37 are active.
