Coronavirus

We want to know how coronavirus is impacting SLO County. Send us your videos — we’ll share them

Life has changed very quickly these past weeks — and we want to see how you all are getting by.

So we have a simple request:

We’d like you to get out your cellphones and cameras and shoot video of your life throughout this pandemic and send it to us here at The Tribune.

We’ll share your work with our viewers and document the extraordinary moment in time we are living in. Think of it like a video diary, and all of San Luis Obispo County — your friends, your neighbors, your family, your coworkers — can take part.

We want you to send us a little bit of everything: funny, poignant, emotional, whatever you are experiencing, we want to see.

Have words of advise for those who are struggling or just want to vent? Share your thoughts.

If you are still out and about, show us what it’s like. Empty streets? Busy trails? Send it in.

What’s work like from home or at any of the essential businesses still open and serving our community? Are you a healthcare worker? What’s that like?

If you test positive for coronavirus, send us a video telling your story. If you test negative, share your story too — we want to hear it all.

Basically we are hoping that you all can be reporters with us right now, documenting your experiences on the front lines of a global pandemic.

Through this, maybe we can come together just a little bit in a time of isolation and show future generations exactly how San Luis Obispo County lived through coronavirus.

Stay safe out there, SLO County. The SLO life will return soon enough.
