Santa Maria nonprofit collecting items for Thomas Fire victims
One Nation 805, a Santa Maria nonprofit organization, will be collecting items for people affected by the Thomas Fire on Thursday night at Rancho Bowl & Lounge.
The event is scheduled to be held from 5 to 9 p.m. at Rancho Bowl & Lounge, located at 128 E Donovan Rd. in Santa Maria. People interested in donating can drop off items right in front of the bowling alley.
Members of One Nation 805 plan to deliver the items to Ventura County on Friday.
Some items needed include: water bottles, nonperishable food items, blankets, clothing, toothbrushes and toothpaste, deodorant, diapers and pet food.
