Player lands ‘big’ jackpot on 2-cent slot machine at Sacramento-area casino

A gambler won big after playing a Sky River Casino slot machine, casino officials said.

The visitor hit a $366, 545 progressive jackpot on a $4.50 bet on a 2-cent slot machine on Sunday, March 29, the Sacramento-area casino said in a Facebook post.

“Proof you don’t have to bet big to win BIG!” the casino said in the post.

Social media users congratulated the lucky gambler for their “nice win.”

What is Sky River Casino near Sacramento?

Sky River Casino is at 1 Sky River Parkway in Elk Grove, about a 15-mile drive southeast from downtown Sacramento.

The casino, which opened in 2022, spans 100,000 square feet with more than 2,100 slot machines and more than 80 table games. It has 18 restaurants and bars.

Sky River Casino is owned by the Wilton Rancheria in partnership with Boyd Gaming Corporation.
