“We are happy with the success of the 2026 World Ag Expo,” said Jerry Sinift, CEO of the International Agri-Center.
The World Ag Expo, which celebrated its 59th year, is the largest annual outdoor agricultural show that takes place in Tulare. Attendees and exhibitors represented 50 states and 53 countries.
“It’s wonderful to see exhibitors and attendees connecting, networking, and doing business,” Sinift said.
One of this year’s highlights for many participants included President Donald J. Trump praising farmers for their hard work and contributions to the economy in a video message played at the opening day ceremony.
“The men and women at this expo are the heart and soul of America,” Trump said during the two-minute video.
This was the first year the Ag Expo has had a video message from a sitting president, said Megan Lausten, marketing manager with the farm show.
The three-day event included 1,179 exhibitors, seminars, demonstrations, and workshops covering a variety of topics, from irrigation and dairy to livestock and professional development throughout the 2.6 million square feet of exhibit space.
Special events included remarks by Luke J. Lindberg, under secretary for Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs at the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).
This year the Ag Expo celebrated the role of women in agriculture worldwide with several sessions, panel discussion with women leaders including California Department of Food and Agriculture Secretary Karen Ross to celebrate the International Year of the Woman farmer.
The annual event will return Feb. 9-11, 2027. More info at www.worldagexpo.com.
