A miniature of Rapunzel’s Tower from the 2010 movie “Tangled” will become part of an iconic ride at Disneyland, park officials reported.

The tower will debut in the Storybook Land Canal Boats ride as part of the Southern California theme park’s official 70th anniversary celebration this winter, the Disney Parks Blog said.

The scene will feature miniature “wanted” posters for Flynn Rider, a character in the film, officials said.

“As you float by this scene during the day, you’ll hear a charming arrangement of ‘When Will My Life Begin?’ escaping from Rapunzel’s Tower, recalling afternoons of puzzles, darts and baking,” the blog said in the announcement.

“Once dusk falls, ‘I See the Light’ will play as you drift along the canal and watch the winking lights, reminiscent of the lanterns Rapunzel and Flynn Rider gazed at from their boat in the film,” officials said.

The animated film recounts the adventures of Rapunzel, famously locked in a tower, and her rescuer, Flynn Rider. Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi head the cast.

The Storybook Land Canal Boats ride debuted with the opening of the park in 1955, although there was initially little for passengers to see, officials said.

Miniature versions of places from Disney films, such as the cottage and diamond mine from “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” and the village from “Pinocchio,” were later added.

More recent additions include the castles from “Aladdin” and “The Little Mermaid,” among others.

The miniature landscapes also are viewable from the Casey Jr. Circus Train. The two rides are currently closed for refurbishing.

Disneyland, located in Anaheim, will officially celebrate its 70th anniversary in November and January through March, officials said.
