Fantasy 5 player hits $166,000 jackpot in California. Where was lucky ticket sold?

A Fantasy 5 player in California won the $166,555 jackpot, lottery officials say.

The ticket matched five winning numbers in the drawing Tuesday, July 1, the California Lottery said.

The lucky ticket was sold at La Potranca Liquor Store in San Leandro, which is about a 20-mile drive southeast from San Francisco, the lottery said.

The grand prize now resets to an estimated $73,000 for the next drawing Wednesday, July 2, lottery officials said.

The winning numbers were 3, 5, 6, 25 and 29, the site said.

More than 67,000 other Fantasy 5 tickets sold in California also won prizes ranging from free plays to $400, the lottery said.

What to know about Fantasy 5

To score a jackpot in Fantasy 5, a player must match all five winning numbers.

The odds of scoring the jackpot prize are 1 in 575,757.

Tickets can be bought for $1 on the day of the drawing.

Drawings take place daily after the draw entry closes at 6:30 p.m.
